Planex

Say the goal.Planex maps the way up.

One sentence becomes a realistic plan with dated milestones. Planex fits it into the hours you actually have, tells you what to do today, and every Sunday adjusts next week to how this one went.

Checked before it reaches you

A plan that looks great and doesn't fit your life is worse than no plan. So every one is scored for realism, and rewritten if it's judged unrealistic, and anything that depends on a real-world fact gets looked up.

Example: what the reviewer changes
Couch to 10KRewritten: 85
  • Run 5 days a weekRun 3 days: Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, the days you said are free
  • Long run on Sunday at 7:00Long run on Saturday morning, the one morning you have
  • 10 km by week 610 km by week 13, adding about 10% a week
  • Warm-up and mobility before every run

The reviewer's note: five runs doesn't fit three free evenings, and 2 km to 10 km in six weeks is how beginners get injured.

A realism score you can see

A second reviewer reads every plan against your hours, your starting point and your deadline, and scores it. The score is on your plan, so you know how realistic it is. A plan judged unrealistic is rewritten before it reaches you.

Facts looked up, with where and when

Prices, opening times, exam rules and local options are read from the web while the plan is built. Each shows its source and the date it was checked, so you know what's current.

What Planex looked up for a 10K plan: standard beginner running form, cadence 170 to 180 steps a minute and landing under your body, marked estimated, with its source, Women's Running, read on 23 September
From a real 10K plan, exactly as it appears in the app.

Every Sunday, it reads your week

You tick things off as you go. On Sunday Planex looks at what actually happened and rewrites the week ahead: smaller after a rough one, bigger when you're ahead. Missing a day doesn't mean starting over.

See it working

A real recording of the app, sped up a little: a goal goes in, three taps later a plan comes out, and it slots into the rest of your day.

Recorded on Android, dark mode. The waits are cut; a new plan takes a few minutes.

Any goal you can say in a sentence

Run a 10K/Pass the bar exam/Get the harvest in before the rains/Learn enough Italian to talk to my in-laws/Sleep before midnight/Launch the Etsy shop/Clear my skin/Save for a used car/Play one song on guitar

The underlined ones open a sample plan.

Questions people ask

What happens after the first 3 days?

You keep the whole route and everything you've done. Pro plans every day after that and adjusts the plan each Sunday. If you don't upgrade, nothing is deleted. You just don't get new days scheduled.

Is the plan written by AI?

Yes. Each plan is then read by a second reviewer that scores it for realism against your hours, starting point and deadline. You see that score on your plan, and a plan it judges unrealistic is rewritten before you get it. Facts it depends on are looked up and shown with their source and date. It's a planning coach, not a doctor or a financial adviser.

How do I cancel Pro?

In Google Play: Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions. You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.

Do I need an account?

No. Planex works from the moment you open it. To move to a new phone, the app gives you a one-time code to enter on the new one.

What happens to my data?

It's used to build and adjust your plan, and nothing else. There are no ads, it's never sold, and you can delete all of it from the app or at myplanex.app/delete. The details are in the privacy policy.

Which phones does it work on?

Android 7.0 or newer. There's no iPhone version yet.

What kind of goals work?

Anything you can say in a sentence and work towards: fitness, study, languages, money, a business, skin, sleep, a skill. For health goals Planex builds routines and habits; it doesn't diagnose or treat anything.

What do you want to get done?

Say it in one sentence. Planex will have a route and your first step ready in a couple of minutes.
